Information Collection and Use Stratecon Inc. is the sole owner of the information collected on this site. We will not sell, share, or rent this information to others in ways different from what is disclosed in this statement. Stratecon Inc. collects information from our users at several different points on our website. Our Web server does not recognize any information regarding the domain or e-mail address for any visitor to our site.

We collect the e-mail addresses of those who communicate with us via e-mail, or from information volunteered by the user, such as during site registrations.

The information we collect is used to improve the content of our Web page, used to notify consumers about updates to our Web site and statistics on users given to advertisers.

Ordering Services Our payment solutions vendors will request sensitive information, including credit card number, cardholder name, billing address and zipcode, and email address during the payment process.  Only the subscriber name, amount paid and email address is provided to us.  We may use that email address to contact you about your subscription.

Log Files We use IP addresses to analyze trends, administer the site, track user’s movement, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. IP addresses are not linked to personally identifiable information.

Cookies We use cookies for analytic purposes, such as determining which browser you used.  In addition, our subscription management service, Tinypass uses an encrypted cookies stored on your computer to recognize you, so that you do not need to log in each time you return the website.

Sharing Information We will share aggregated demographic information with our partners and advertisers. This is not linked to any personal information that can identify any individual person. In the future we may provide e-mail lists to other groups in the water industry.

We have contracted with reputable payment solution companies, Tinypass and Pay Pal.  We recommend you review their privacy policies before submitting any sensitive information, such as credit card numbers.

While we generally have outsourced our payment processing and subscription management, we still do everything in our power to protect user-information off-line. All of our users’ information, not just the sensitive information mentioned above, is restricted in our offices. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, our billing clerk or a customer service representative) are granted access to personally identifiable information. Furthermore, ALL employees are kept up-to-date on our security and privacy practices. Every quarter, as well as any time new policies are added, our employees are notified and/or reminded about the importance we place on privacy, and what they can do to ensure our customers’ information is protected.

Special Offers Established members may occasionally receive notice on products, services, and special information. Out of respect for the privacy of our users we present the option to not receive these types of communications. Users who do not wish to receive information from us may opt-out of receiving these communications.

Correction/Updating Personal Information If a user’s personally identifiable information changes (such as your zip code), or if a user no longer desires our service, we will endeavor to provide a way to correct, update or remove that user’s personal data provided to us.
