New online database charts water quality regulations related to oil and gas development

A database compiling and comparing water quality laws and regulations relating to oil and gas development in Colorado, Montana, New Mexico, New York, North Dakota, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas, Utah, West Virginia and Wyoming hopes to serve policymakers, industry officials and citizens as the technology around fracking and drilling improves. The database was jointly conceived by the University of Colorado Boulder’s Intermountain Oil and Gas Best Management Practices (BMP) Project and Temple University’s Public Health Law Research program.
