The Environment Texas Research and Policy Center requests that Texas water officials prioritize water conservation and aquatic ecosystem protection as they begin to plan projects under Prop 6. The center also highlights its research on the 2012 State Water Plan projects, which have resulted in assaults to oyster fisheries, bird populations and forests, among other environmental problems.
