The New Mexico Legislature is urged to seriously consider Gov. Susana Martinez’s water resource investment recommendations. Gov Martinez has proposed the expansion of the New Mexico Water Resources Research Institute at New Mexico State University, the establishment of a Dry Community Water Emergency Fund and Technical Assistance Planning fund and increased spending for water infrastructure.
